Terms & Conditions – Ceylon Diary Travels

1. 1. Booking & Confirmation
      1. All bookings (Train tickets, hotels) are confirmed upon receipt of the Advance payment deposit
   2. Children’s Policy
      1. Children under 6 years: free of charge when sharing parents’ room (no extra bed)
      2. Children 6- 11 years: 50% of the adult rate if sharing parents’ room
      3. Children above 12 years are charged at the adult rate
   3. Cancellation Policy
      1. Cancellation received 30 days before arrival: free of charge
      2. Cancellation received 15 – 29 days before arrival: 50% of the total cost
      3. Cancellation received within 14 days of arrival of “no-show”: 100% of the total cost
   4. Amendments
      1. Any changes to the program after confirmation may result in additional costs
      2. Changes are subject to hotel and supplier availability
   5. Liability
      1. Ceylon Diary Travels acts as an agent for hotels, transport providers,  and attractions, and is not liable for delay, accidents, losses, or damages beyond our control
      2. Guests are advised to have personal travel insurance
   6. Payment method
      1. Payment can be made by USD, Euro, or LKR only
      2. Bank charges, if applicable, are borne by the client
      3. Advance payment (Before arrivals) – 10% from the total
      4. On arrival – 50% from the total
      5. On the final day of the trip, 40% from the total
   7. Force Majeure 
      1. The company shall not be held responsible for circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, or pandemics
   8. Governering law
      1. All disputes are subject to the laws of Sri Lanka
   9. Vehicle rules
      1. Drinking Alcohol, smoking, and transporting durian inside the car straightly prohibited and it will cost of 300$ penalty
   10. 1st day: Defend on your arrival time.
   11. If you can manage your time, you can visit all the places. (Tour daytime from 6 am to 6 pm)
